COMPATIBILITY

The PR007 is suitable with a wide range of electric guitar pickups and precision bass, particularly double coil or humbucker pickups.

PR007 INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare your screwdrivers and appropriate screws.
2. Unscrew the hold pickup ring if applicable and carefully lift it off. 
3. Position the PR007 over the pickup cavity, ensuring it aligns with the pickup or the pickup is centered. 
4. Insert the screws individually to the holes of the ring. Screw at least 1 or two on both sides, but don’t tighten them yet. This is just to lightly keep the ring in place. 
5. Adjust the pickup ring so that it evenly aligns with the strings. 
6. Start tightening the center screws and gradually tighten each of the other screws as you go. 
7. Be careful not to overtighten the screws as it may damage your screw holes or your guitar.
8. Finally, check the ring if it is already secured in place and test your guitar by playing or listening to the sound or tone. 

(Note: For curved pickup ring slots, it may be necessary to modify the PR007 by cutting and sanding the edges to ensure a proper fit. Avoid applying excessive force or pressure on the ring just to make the flat edge conform)

CARE TIPS:

1. Wipe down the pickup ring regularly. Use a soft, lint-free cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. 
2. Gently buff guitar polish into the ring using circular motions with a clean cloth.  Make sure the polish is safe for metal finishes. This will restore the ring’s shine and cover small scratches. 
3. Store your guitar in a suitable case especially when transporting it to avoid unnecessary impacts that could dent or scratch the frame. 
4. Regularly inspect the screws and the overall ring body to make sure the screws are still in place and the entire ring is still tightly secured.
